“What really stood out about Jonny’s story was his unwillingness to quit. I think at some point or another we all have dreams of things we’d like to do, but it’s rare to find someone so driven to really achieve them. At the same time, I think Jonny’s experience is relatable and hopefully inspiring. This was a bare bones production: Mark and I handled every element of the filmmaking from pre production through post, but I also think that’s what made it special. Mark and I have worked together for years and Jonny is a close friend of ours. We loaded up our equipment in a rental car and hit the road. While we had a production plan, we left a lot of room to improvise. Our familiarity with each other really allowed us to take a pretty intimate approach to telling Jonny’s story, and I think that comes across in the fim.” -Greg McKillop, Filmmaker
